YOU’RE NOT MY REAL MOM

image

God this is gonna suck when I get to Frost Cavern.

image

Still holding on tight to that 3DS I don’t have and couldn’t figure out how to get back. Our mom’s probably holding it hostage.

image

Haha I’m never going back in there in case the game notices I’m not wearing the default outfit and forces me into actual clothes again.

Oh hey, do you want to see how it resolved the issue of not having a full render model?

image
image

The short answer is it didn’t.

Every now and then notes for this float past my dash and I’m forcibly reminded that I had to stop because I got trapped behind Nurse Joy’s counter and couldn’t figure out how to leave the Pokémon Center because the camera clipped through the floor into PokéHell.

TIL that NASA has been launching jellyfish into space since the 90’s. Originally 2,478 were sent up and there were 60,000 orbiting Earth by the mission’s end 20 years later. The jellyfish that have returned reportedly ‘hate life on Earth.’

via reddit.com

Go you want to birth an Eldridge horror? This is how you birth an Eldridge horror

I want to know how they decided that they hate life on earth

I mean, who doesn’t

The “jellyfish that have returned” are the offspring of the ones sent up; they “hate life on Earth” because they were born into a world without gravity - no direction, different kinds of pressure, so when they return they have trouble adapting and (according to the Read More in the source) “Jellyfish babies, at least, have to deal with massive vertigo on Earth after spending their first few days in space,” which you can tell because you can measure how disoriented a jellyfish is compared with norma behavior. TL;DR your cthulu is an infant with a migraine

I’m concerned that Spiderverse is going to send a generation of future cosplayers the wrong message

namely that it’s possible to spray paint cloth a different color

PSA you cannot spray paint anything that will bend, it will all turn to flakes and fall off. That goes for rubber boots, leather boots, foam, pretty much anything that flexes. You gotta use fabric spray paint for fabric, leather paint for leather, etc.

If Batman is canonically about 32 then he was born in 1986. And if his parents were killed leaving a movie theater when he was ten years old, then there is a very real possibility that they were seeing Space Jam

Opera Theatre

Depends on which canon, but in the original canon they were seeing The Mask of Zorro, which continued in subsequent comics canons well into the Burton and Schumacher movie canons.

In Christopher Nolan’s canon, they were seeing a stage production of Hannibal. This seems to be the only deviation.

In Zack Snyder’s canon, Snyder returned to form and they were leaving The Mask of Zorro even though that made little sense.

Honestly, the whole aesthetic of Batman’s origin has this weird antiquity, where Thomas and Martha Wayne are dressed like wealthy socialites from the 1920s no matter what era the canon is set in.

Always bothers me. Wealthy people don’t out on pearls to go see a movie in a regular theater. They put on jeans.

Thats why i always thought it was an opera Theatre??? Wtf Batman

Batman was formulated and written in the late 30s, when people actually did gussy up to go see a film, because it was relatively rare and really expensive in that time because of the economic depression. It just doesn’t translate well anymore.
